  I have been very blessed in my life...I don't have a sad story or a horrible past. I wasn't always a believer, as I grew up not going to church or really talking about God. I came to know Jesus because I needed him and at the time I asked him, "if you are there...please help me get through what I need to get through." When I said that, I felt his arms wrap around me and he said, "I'm here, I have always been here" and that is when I truly knew that he was watching over me my whole life. I suppose I just wasn't listening hard enough to his love and kindness. I met my husband 8 years ago and he grew up going to church and his Mom is a strong believer, so he started taking me to church at NMC. As life got busy, we stopped going and then after we had our 2 girls, we wanted them to grow up knowing God and all his powers. So we searched all over Northern Colorado to find a church and God led us to NMC once again. We have now been attending for 2 years. At first I felt intimidated because I have so much to learn about the Bible but feeling God's love was never a question and it was because of NMC that I came to truly know the Lord. I now know that faith is a lifestyle and knowing him is a lifetime journey. My first step in my faith was finding a church because you need a good teacher and there are so many good teachers and friends that attend NMC. I always told myself I didn't want to preach but I always write reviews about products/customer service and I think when we were searching for a church, we should have read some reviews. I know my story isn't a depressing one but my experience at NMC has been inviting, contagious and optimistic...I want to be a Holy person and if I encourage someone else to come to know God through this review...then Amen! There are so many good people at NMC and I can't express how much I have learned and gained from the experience! I encourage anyone to come in to visit.

  North Metro Church and Pastor James are all incredible people on fire for God. The childrens ministry is amazing. Thank you for being my home church for the past 5 years and helping me grow closer to God.
